The Best Bong Ever Designed
The bong has been around for thousands of years and hasn’t changed much in its basic design.
Their main function is to bubble the tobacco or cannabis or other herbs through some liquid usually water, before being inhaled through the mouth.
The basic design and functionality is pretty good as it is, so what could make this, “The Best Bong” ever designed?
Read on….because there is so much to tell you about bongs and what I discovered using them every day for the last 5 years.
How is the Best Bong Different
Lets get right into it, shall we…For starters, all of my bongs have been made entirely from glass. I’m assuming most of them were made from borosilicate glass, which is the better type of glass if you have a choice. But some can be the softer glass which is more prone to breakage.
The first problem I ran into repeatedly was that glass cracks and breaks from all types of things, such as thermal shock, vibration, poor workmanship, unskilled workers and so on.
I have a running tally at about $900 spent on glass that is now broken and not useable. I have saved them to show people what the reality is when using glass on a daily basis. It will break.
My most recent item was a Christmas present from my son, which lasted from December 25,2018 to February 16,2019, a short 53 days. It was a very cool reclaim unit for oil concentrates that I was testing out.
I was really thinking maybe I wouldn’t need to make out oil can insert after all, because I was really liking that little thing, until it broke and took another quartz banger with it in the process. Ca-Ching to the tune of another $50 dollars down the tubes.
Maybe we will reconsider making the oil can after all. Even bringing the initial prototype to market will be cheaper than; 2 units, which is where I’ll be at now if I replace it again, and maybe another 4,5,6 units over the next few years, at $50 each time. I’ll easily spend over $300 bucks on these things at the rate of one every 53 days.
And that’s just the accessories not the main bong and herb bowls. When those broke, I lost hundreds of dollars each time.
I’ve broken so many glass bowls over the last five years. Sometimes they will crack at the joint connections pulling them out of the bong, because they get sticky and stuck sometimes.
Let Me Tell You A Dirty Little Secret....
Smoke shops love glass bongs, because glass breaks and it means a lot of repeat sales, for years and years.
Your money forever being funneled out of your pockets on a product, that by its very nature is destined to fail at some point.
Then add in the child labor and low quality of workmanship and you can see how this market has sustained itself thus far. Cheap imported glass with no way to verify how good any of it is, or even what type of glass its made from.
Trust me, I’ve seen brand new pieces that looked awesome at the shop, break within hours of being used. Sometimes the bowls will break right away or a connection on the bong somewhere.
These things can be so cheaply made, that simply putting them into an ultrasonic cleaner will cause them to come apart.
We’ve done it and witnessed it with our ultrasonic cleaner and now we tell anyone that wants to use it, “use at their own risk”.
If you want quality glass, you have to buy American made stuff. You want to verify the workmanship and type of glass they use. Borosilicate being the best glass to use, or Quartz, being even better.
You can also ask about the annealing techniques used to ensure the glass is as stable, as it can be, with minimal stress through out the entire piece.
This was my first obstacle in creating the BEST BONG. Not using Glass where it could be compromised, if possible.
There are actually many other suitable materials that could be used and would last a lot longer, if not forever.
The Best Bong Is Modular
Since glass breaks and it’s essentially one large piece of fused together glass, it cannot be taken apart or fixed very easily.
This also made it very hard to clean in some respects, especially if you do lots of oil dabs. That stuff is sticky and gets all over the insides of the bong. Look up images of dirty bongs and dirty dab rigs to see what I mean.
The Best Bong is completely modular in design, which means it can be completely taken apart and easily cleaned.
It can also be easily repaired if needed, unlikely, but it’s part of the design, no planned obsolescence at Infinium water pipe, ever!
The only part that really would ever need replacing is the polycarbonate tube that is used to make up the chambers of the Best Bong.
This part may become cracked or crazed over time, so replacement is more for aesthetic reasons, than functionality.
Each part either threads into each other or slip fits with o-rings which makes the Best Bong super cool and easy to assemble.

The Best Bong Uses Modular Chambers
The Best Bong uses what we call chambers to make up the building blocks of the system. Each chamber consists of a top and bottom flange.
These Flanges as well as every metal part, could be made from Stainless steel or even Titanium, and if demand exists, we will make them from these exotic materials.
These flanges have threads internally and externally. The bubblers, couplers and mouthpieces all attach via these threads.
These flanges also have o-rings to provide a water and airtight seal against the polycarbonate tube that completes the chamber design. We used silicone o-rings so no lubricants would ever be needed.
The flanges have a threaded rod with a nut at both ends to ensure it will not separate. The rod can be removed if desired, but you will need to plug the center hole in the Reactor bubbler to get proper percolation.
There is sufficient friction to hold the chambers together, but as a precaution we added the rod so you can make your own decision as to use it or not. It only takes a few extra seconds to take the nut off for the added piece of mind, of it not coming apart unexpectedly by someone messing around with it.
These flanges also have small holes that provide your first level of percolation within the Best Bong. They were also designed to be used in adjusting the draw resistance if desired.
The Modular Two Section Mouth Piece
One very cool aspect of the Best Bong is the two section mouth piece, which in the future will be available as a 3 section version with 45 degree center elbow.
This allows many possible scenarios, one being hygienic in nature since you could have multiple top sections in various shapes and styles to differentiate who is using what mouth piece.
Similar to having your own wine glass, but instead you’ll have your own personal mouthpiece that can be cleaned at the end of the smoke session and be used again and again. Plus, it will never break.
“The Best Bong” along with the “HCP’s” and “The Best Herb Grinder” were all used in the “Top Shelf Taste Test” videos. In the videos everyone had their own mouthpiece to use.
The part you press your lips against is perfectly shaped and feels as good as any glass piece out there. Just a quick FYI, the Best Bong can utilize glass mouthpieces too, more on this later.
Another possibility is customization and the ability to have longer top sections in various shapes, styles and colors.
When the elbow section is made you will be able to have a mouth piece at an angle of 45 degrees. This will allow you to have an even shorter dab rig type setup if you desire.
Just one more feature that sets The Best Bong apart from all other bongs on the market.
It offers so much flexibility and personal customization options.
The Herb Down Stem Is Extendable
The herb down stem, well, at least that’s what we call it, since it holds the19mm male herb bowl.
It is comprised of two parts, the lower being the elbow which slips into the single intake base. The herb down stem in turn, screws into the elbow, then the 19mm male slide would slip into the top of the herb down stem.
This down stem can couple via threads with another extension tube to increase the height as needed.

This allows the Best Bong to grow with you in the future. It’s open ended design is forward thinking to make sure your investment is always protected and not wasted.
The Bubblers Are Removable & Interchangeable
Because the Best Bong was designed in a modular fashion, the internal bubblers can be removed and replaced with virtually any type of designs or shapes, provided they fit within the tube dimensions.
Currently the I.D of the tube is 2″ and they have even prototyped a 3″ diameter tube to be offered later down the road.
We call them 3d bubblers, since the first ones were created in a 3d program and then 3d printed.
The current bubblers just thread into the lower flanges internal threads.
The standard “Reactor Bubbler” is made up of 4 discs with percolation holes around their perimeter.
It’s also designed in such a manner that allows the user to use 1,2,3 or all 4 rings, to further customize the smoking experience.

The Bubblers & Mouth Pieces Can Be Glass Or Metal
The Best Bong’s bubblers and mouth pieces can be either, metal as they come standard with or in the future glass.
We will be working with glass artists all over the USA to bring you some of the coolest bubblers ever made for the “Best Bong”.
The story goes like this, I was showing the Best Bong at Seattle Hempfest and a guy said, “oooh nooo, I would never hit a metal pipe”. Glass snob I guess, but in any event, I like to make things as perfect as possible.
So I went back to the drawing board and pondered how to incorporate a glass mouth piece and while I was at it, a glass bubbler system.
A few thousand dollars later and I had some prototypes made to prove it could work. We decided to make it in time, if demand existed for it, but not until then, because after using the Best Bong for the last few years with the metal mouthpiece, it has proven to be excellent as is.
I actually invested in my glass studio to learn first hand to work with glass. It’s a full studio where we could employ our own glass artists, if time permits.
I, nor others have ever commented on preferring glass over the metal mouth piece that comes standard on the Best Bong.
It fits the lips perfectly and hits smoothly, which is all you can ask for in a bong.
Remember the glass snob will forever be hitting the same type of mouthpiece over and over again. His can’t change ever! Ours can.
With the Best Bong, the mouth pieces are removable and replaceable with other metal ones or glass ones for an even different custom look of anodized aluminum and glass.
Have you ever seen silver and gold fumed glass? It’s spectacular and amazing in color spectrum if done properly.
The Best Bong Is Fully Customizable
The Best Bong is by now, I hope you understand, fully customizable in nature.
Every part can be in the future customized with various colored pieces, various shaped pieces and even custom milling done by the CNC machines.
All the bling parts on the high end cars and boats, were done with CNC machines and the Best Bong is made the same way, so we can make it look any way people would like.
The following is all customizable now or in the future on the Best Bong:
- The mouth pieces can be metal, glass, different shapes and lengths, various colors and milling.
- Same for the internal bubblers
- Ditto for the top and bottom flanges
- The herb down stems can be customized
- The Herb base can be customized with future multi port intakes from 1-4.
- Now Imagine what we can do with laser embellishments all over the Best Bong
The Best Bong Is Easy To Clean
Another obvious fact is the ease of cleaning, since it completely comes apart.
This allows you to do simple type rinse cleans and the more in-depth deep clean when it gets really dirty. No other bongs offer you this option.
I personally have purchased an ultrasonic cleaner off eBay. I’m able to just put the entire Best Bong or the individual parts into it and hit the start button.
10 minutes later it’s clean. Some times I have to run the reactor bubbler disc another few minutes or disassemble them to get all the residue off, since I do a lot of oil concentrates. I told you that stuff is sticky, You can also reclaim it and vape it again if you choose too.
Compare that to traditional bongs, which you cannot get into the small orifices and you will quickly appreciate the Best Bong’s modular aspect.
The Best Bong Can Adjust It's Draw Resistance
After hitting many type of bongs in all sizes, I have realized that draw resistance effects the smoking experience immensely.
Especially if you have smaller lungs. For instance, lets take a two stage bong with a 1.5″ mouth opening. I cannot draw on this piece for the same amount of time, as I can on the Best Bong.
I run out of lung capacity and most girls cannot clear them completely. My wife had one lung so for her it would have been hard to do, so the Best Bong would have been a lot easier for her to use than the bigger 1.5″ one.
The best bong is less than 1/2″ in diameter at the mouth piece, and the largest portion is the 2″ I.D. chamber tube.
This is what I mean when I refer to draw resistance. It’s how easy or hard it is to draw and clear the bong.
With the Best Bong, I can take a long drawn out hit and completely clear the bong each time with some breath still left over.
It’s a nice even smooth draw at what ever level I choose, fast or slow.
The Best Bong Has The Smoothest Bubbler Systems
The standard bubbler is the “Reactor Bubbler” which has 4 removable discs. This one offers an exceptional smoking experience and is quite smooth with over 48 percolation holes.
The newest bubbler coming out is the fritted glass unit which is supposed to be the smoothest of the smoothest bong bubblers.
A guy was even awarded a patent on the fritted disc bong and it was called the worlds smoothest bong.
The way it works is by using small broken fragments of glass that is partially fused together in a disc form. This fritted disc is then fused inside a glass bong and it becomes permanent.
Problem with this design is the frited disc will over time start to fall apart, even in the cleaning process small fragments might came off the disc. It in essence will start to disintegrate. Just handling the discs cause little pieces to fall off.
And forget about putting them into any type of ultrasonic cleaner, I think you can guess what will happen to all the fritted glass pieces that make up the disc.
So this type of bong design is going to get clogged and eventually may not be very useable without extensive cleaning.
The Best Bong will use a removable and replaceable fritted disc.
This allows the user to have multiple fritted discs and then just rotate them out as needed to keep them from ever getting to dirty, beyond a simple soak.
We could also offer various types of stones as well such as air stones to bubble through, or even disposable charcoal units that drop into the bubbler.
We could also just have small glass or metal discs with perforated holes of various sizes. These two would be replaceable and easily cleaned.
So the Best Bong will be able to claim the title of the “smoothest hitting bong” now and forever.
The Best Bong Can Morph
The Best Bong can also morph into a Nectar Collector style bong or even a steam roller style dry pipe. See the images in the gallery below
It can transform into many other things that will be released at a later date if the demand exists.
The Best Bong is pretty much everything and the kitchen sink, so yea, it can do a lot that we haven’t even come up with yet.
The Best Bong Can Be Small or Tall
In addition to just getting longer or shorter tubes for the chamber, you can also make multi stage systems with the Best Bong.
Since the Best Bong is modular we decided to create a simple coupler that would allow multiple chambers to be connected to create multi stage units.
The standard polycarbonate tube is a 2″ I.D but the base will mate up with up to a 3″ I.D Tube to be released at a later time, again if demand exists. The 2″ works pretty damn good as it is now.
The Best Bong can also go the other way to create a very nice intimate dab rig.
Just use the 45 degree mouthpiece adapter on a shorter 4″ tall tube, then throw in the fritted disc bubbler system and you have the smoothest hitting dab rig ever created.
I will put the Best Bong up against any other bong out there for smoothness. Even a fritted dic bong will not hit as good as the Best Bong does.
We can even double stage the fritted disc if we desire, so there is no way we will ever lose the title of the smoothest bong rip.
The Best Bong Comes With The Best Herb Slide System Standard
The Best Herb Slide System is made from the same aerospace aluminum. It will be available separately down the road, so everyone can benefit from the “Ash Can” and “Bowl Mates” inserts system.
The unit will come with the 19mm male fitting standard, but the other fitting options will be available when we offer it as a separate package.
The system uses the “Ash Can” insert to capture virtually all of the ash before it can get into your clean water. Then you simply clean the ash can out and re insert it, then wait till it fills up again.
The system also uses what we call the “Bowl Mates” inserts. They come in different sizes that hold a predetermined amount of weed.
They currently come in small, medium and large size bowls and you get all three sizes with the “The Best Bong”.
It also comes with a nice anodized carb cap that functions as your tamper as well. The entire system was thoroughly thought out from the start to be, the definitive bowl system ever created.
No other bowl system out there can do what this one does. It’s the last bowl system anyone will ever have to purchase. And It’s also guaranteed for life, just like the “The Best Bong”.
The Best Bong Will Last You Forever
The Best Bong is made from the same materials used in the aerospace industries.
The parts are all anodized to mil specs and will last for years to come.
The chamber tube is made from the same material they use in bullet proof glass, polycarbonate.
We use the highest grade silicone o-rings so there is never any need for lubricants.
All the parts either thread together or slip fit using silicone o-rings, which makes all the parts easy to replace if needed.
We also supply you with plenty of o-rings to last you for years.

The short answer in most cases has been just retire it and get a new one.
